“Thanks to Impact100 Greater Chesapeake Grant, the Annapolis Symphony Academy is transforming lives and making music and music education accessible for all in Anne Arundel County. Your grant has allowed the Annapolis Symphony Academy to reach out further in our county, as well as expand existing relations to offer the opportunity for private lessons along with free tickets to concerts to communities who previously did not have the means to afford these lessons or attend Annapolis Symphony Concerts. The Academy, part of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, opened its doors seven years ago with a mission to change lives by providing accessible high-level musical education to students of all cultural and economic backgrounds, with a strong commitment to diversity in the classical music field.
